· University Degree in Faculty of Law, Master’s degree is an asset
· Minimum 5 - 10 years of legal transactional and compliance experience, ideally in an international law firm or in an in-house position of a company which has international businesses. Solid labor law and corporate law background is a must.
· Strong understanding of construction, energy, real estate development businesses, multi-national corporate structure and ability to draw out business implications of legal issues
· Excellent command of verbal and written English
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent persuasive and negotiation ability
· Proactive, take ownership for results, overcome obstacles
· Excellent follow-up and multi-tasking and reporting skills
· Willingness to work overtime.
· Flexibility to travel when required
· Very good MS Office knowledge

İŞ TANIMI
The candidate
· will ensure corporate compliance with legal requirements
· will advise the company on its contractual & statutory obligations, legal risks and legislation change
· will manage and deal with disputes and litigation; coordinate the work flow with external legal firms where necessary
· will support law department’s decision processes with legal risk assessments especially on Labor Law, Contracts and Corporate Law issues in a manner that allows the business to move forward on the basis of informed and reasonable or controlled risk taking
· will provide legal opinions, negotiation, draft/review of agreements and other legal documentation, with specialization in Corporate Law such as shareholder’s agreements, share purchase agreements, engagement letters, terms of business, hold harmless letters, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements
· will advise business on execution of contractual obligations
· will conduct legal due diligence while purchasing a new businesses; drafting and participating in the negotiations to finalize the contract
· must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and work independently with colleagues in multiple locations across the continents
· will support implementation of all legislative, regulatory, and compliance initiatives, as per global/regional requirements
· will interact with regulatory authorities
· will collaborate with international attorneys of the Group on matters relating to subsidiaries and/or business divisions
· will draft legal procedures to be followed
· will deal with all aspects of the trademarks
· will perform trainings and assurance on compliance rules and regulations
· will perform such other legal work and administrative matters that may be required as part of the Group’s legal function
· must be able to be a “team player” with function colleagues and business partners
· must have effective verbal and written communication skills in all interactions with senior management, corporate functions and all levels of personnel
· must have discretion in handling highly confidential and sensitive matters
· must act with the highest integrity and professionalism
