Qualifications required for this position are as follows:

• Server & Storage Engineer will have at least bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience,
• As minimum HPE, Dell or similar vendor certification or equivalent knowledge is desired,
• Experience in storage systems, such as Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Networks (SAN),
• Experience in server and storage virtualization, such as VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM, or Xen,
• Expertise in server and storage hardware, such as Dell, Hewlett Packard (HP), NetApp etc
• Experience in backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Well-versed in server and storage security, performance optimization, and capacity planning,
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot server and storage issues, and provide timely resolutions,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment,
• Extended experience in designing and implementing server and storage infrastructure, and managing server operating systems, such as Windows, or Linux,
• Demonstrated proficiency in customer service skills,
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Turkish & English.

Requirements:

• Performing delivery of complex IT solutions essential for supporting enterprise operations at edge sites, including manufacturing locations and data center locations,

• Deploying and configuring new servers and storage devices, including installing operating systems, software, and firmware,

• Working with other IT professionals to ensure that server and storage infrastructure is integrated with other IT systems, such as networks and databases,

• Providing architectural guidance on IT servers, storage, hyperconverged infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions,

• Maintaining inventory and architecture configurations for servers, storage, and hybrid cloud solutions at required edge and data center locations,

• Managing performance and capacity management for servers, storage, and hybrid cloud solutions at required edge and data center locations,

• Technical knowledge support for edge site and data center infrastructure tenders,

• Ensuring smooth day-to-day business operations through support including general systems troubleshooting and engineer user training on new solutions,

• Performing systems testing of new hardware, software, and storage solutions,

• Supporting assigned team members or contract and third-party workers through work direction and supervision when required,

• Responsibilities and financial aspects of hardware and software licenses, as well as vendor management,

• Performing project implementation from site survey to acceptance,

• Regular reporting of project stages and exceptional cases,

• Handling PoC tests together with end customer, subcontractor and vendor,

• Staying up-to-date on the latest server and storage technologies and trends,
