We are looking for a "Laboratory Technician" for our customer who has established itself as a major player in“Automotive”.

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Bachelor degree or higher in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering,

·         Knowledge about antivibration and/or sealing parts,

·         Experience with rubber compounding,

·         Technician with relevant experience in testing and/or production environments,

·         Willingness to learn about elastomers properties, to characterize new materials and to support compound development trials

·         Strong attention to details and technical problem solving skills,

·         Good communication skills in English (both written and oral),

·         Self-driven, very well organized in reporting,

·         Service- and customer- oriented

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Prototype compounds production (operation of equipment for weighting and mixing of ingredients),

·         Record and report the production parameters,

·         Support and perform the testing activities for compound development. For example:

o   Compound test samples production,

o   Perform characterization tests (temperature tests, rheometer, hardness, mooney viscosity, density, tensile, tear, etc.)

o   Report test results in a well organized manner,

o   Properly label, package and track the test samples to be shipped to A+P Group for further testing,

·         Support calibration processes and maintenance of test equipment,

·         Report to the different stakeholders in the A+P Group in English,

·         Flexible working hours.
